Lola V. Forbes Chaconas (b. 1920) served in the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) and Women's Army Corps (WAC) from 1942 to 1944 .
Lola Virginia Forbes Chaconas was inducted into the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps on Christmas Eve, 1942, in Richmond Virginia. Pvt. Forbes worked as a duplicating machine operator and was stationed at Ft. Bliss, Texas when she was honorably discharged in May of 1944. |
