These sketches will dramatise incidents of pilferage or careless handling of military equipment that have resulted in critical shortages in forward areas, shortages that have co3t lives of American soldiers and that have prolonged the agon;' of war. The fact that wo arc in a roar area makes pilferage and careless handling of equipment no loss a crimo. The sum total of pilferages and breakages is much too much. Unfortunately, most of the pilferage and careless handlirg occurs with the most critical of items — medical supplies, radio and signal equipment, and food stores.
