Dear Hun, I gave a letter last wk to some one [sic] to mail for me to you evidently the person didn't mail it. Am sorry you have been worried about me and you know you must not do that. I am getting along fine and you are too. We are having some very changeable weather here and I know you must be too-- so please be careful with your self [sic].
Briscoe came down and stayed a couple of days. I was glad to see often such a long time.
Don't worry about Mrs. Henderson and those. If she wanted to move it is all right.
I still want the house fixed.
I am going on night duty on the 14th and will come off on the 28th. I may get a leave when I come off and come home awhile. You know I am tired.
Had a long letter from Edith-- said she had heard from you-- Ann, one of the nurses here who founded St. Agnes, had a letter from Mrs. Wonall-- she was so glad I had a safe return. Have you heard from Mrs. Cuyler recently.
I had the pictures made-- I am hoping I can get them tonight-- I saw the proof and it was good. I think the pictures will be too. You need not wait-- you can go ahead and send some in the write up. Do you need a picture? You know how I hate those others.
I sent mother and [illegible] a Valentine card--
I am glad you started a bank account-- It should have been both of our names-- Mrs. Mattie told me I had $1,105 in the bank in Laurens.
I won't be able to send home as much now-- I only get paid $150 now-- I have to take out $40 each month for living, maid services, mess bill, officers club dues. I have to pay $30 each month for food alone-- so you see I don't make much as I did in Africa.
Have I sent you all of the clippings back? Write soon--
