Florence S. Weil of New York City was a war radio analyst and an editorial assistant at "Esquire" magazine before enrolling in the WAAC in 1942. Weil was stationed at Fort Des Moines, Iowa, and then Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, where she attended Officer Candidate School. |
