Veteran's biography |
Kate I. Germano (b. 1973), of El Paso, Texas, served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1996-2016. In 2003, she deployed to Iraq as Adjutant with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. Some of her other assignments included command of recruiting station San Diego, Marine aide de camp for the Secretary of the Navy, and command of 4th Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Depot, Parris Island, SC., where she was controversially relieved of that command after a year. Germano ended her career as a Special Projects Officer at the Washington Navy Yard. |
