Fisher Park Neighborhood Association Minutes of theBoard of Directors Meeting January 29, 1996 The next Board meeting will be held Monday, February 26th at 7:00 at Holy Trinity. The FPNA Board of Directorsmet on January 29th at 7:00 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in the Haywood Duke Room. Board Members present were Geoffrey Wall, Ann Stringfield, Miriam Hamill, Holt Gwyn, Russ Moxley, Rick Luebke, Ann Barnes, Rebecca Byrd, Jim Snypes, Carter Delafield, Holly Ruch, Adeline Talbot. Mary Dixon and Dennis Quaintance. Also in attendance was Judy Clement, historian. Guests at the meeting were Bill Guill and Julie Hatfield, co-chairs of the 1996 House Tour. ■ The minutes of January's meeting were approved. ■ Jim Snypes gave the treasurer's report and distributed two financial statements, a balance sheet and a statement of cash flows for the three month period ended 1/29/96. The balance sheet showed a total account balance of $7355.40. ■ Bill Guill and Julie Hatfield, co-chairs of the December '96 House Tour, presented a proposed project time line, and a list of potential houses for the tour. Letters will be sent to the residents of those houses this week inquiring as to their willingness to open their homes to the Tour, with a telephone follow-up the first week of February. A mix of houses on both sides of the Park is what's needed. Bill and Julie stressed the need for everyone to volunteer for a committee or to donate services. Dennis Quaintance promptly volunteered Lucky 32 as the first sponsor of the House Tour. Russ Moxley signed up for the Entertainment Committee, and Adeline Talbot and Rebecca Byrd, co-chairs of the Park Committee will continue in that role for the House Tour. Holly Ruch reported that the luminaria sale raised $1200.00. The 501(c)(3) application and supporting documents has been filed with IRS. Holt Gwyn estimated that approval will take approxiamtely 6 weeks. Adeline Talbot announced that Friends of the Park meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every other month, with the next meeting at her house Wednesday, February 7th at 7:30. Topics for this month's meeting will include planning new projects, plantings in the creekbeds to be done in April, and the
