Gearing Up for
2002 Centennial
Celebrations
/'T^eady to volunteer to help with our
(^Centennial celebrations?
We're planning a January 2002 kickoff
celebration at the Historical Museum. In
May, seven homes and gardens are scheduled
to be on our Home and Garden Tour.
Several "Green Hill Cemetery Tours" will
be offered throughout the year.
In late summer/early fall we'll encourage an
evening of
Block or
House parties, followed by
music and
desserts in
Fisher Park.
In April,
FisU Papl< Centennial 1902 - 2002
the centennial
planning committee adopted the official
Fisher Park Centennial logo, pictured here,
designed by Greensboro native and former
Fisher Park resident Stephen Costello.
To partake in the preliminary excitement,
call neighborhood president Liz Urquhart
(373-1250) or president-elect Ann Stringfield
(273-1393) to learn of volunteer opportunities. <~r>
