Holograph translation of libretto. Title written in the hand of Peter Paul Fuchs, in red ink, on title page and cover of published vocal score of Giuseppe Verdi's La forza del destino. Fuchs's English translation written in pencil directly above the published Italian words by Francesco Maria Piave and the English translation, in interlinear format, by Ruth Martin and Thomas Martin. Written in Fuchs's hand, in Italian, on recto of final unnumbered leaf: eight-line stanza from the aria Urna fatale del mio destino, with rhyme scheme analysis. Donated by the estate of Peter Paul Fuchs. 1 unnumbered page, 367 pages, 1 unnumbered leaf ; 27 cm.
