RUN AWAY
On the 9th inst from the Subscriber, living in Wake County between Raleigh and Hillsborough,
A NEGRO BOY by the Name of TAPLEY, about 20 Years of Age, of a bright Yellow Complexion ; about five Feet nine Inches high; spare made; has a Scar on his Chin; very sensible and active, with a modest pleasing Countenance. He carried away a number of Cloaths, mostly Homespun, and two Dutch Blankets. It is supposed he will make towards the Western Country, and pass for a Free Man, perhaps by the Name of Ellis, as that was the Name of his Father. Any person that will bring said Boy to me, or secure him in any Goal so that I get him, shall be handsomely rewarded by me.
