This scrapbook, created by Mary Jane Sockwell between 1927 and 1931, documents Sockwell's experience as a student at the North Carolina College for Women (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). The scrapbook contains ephemera, invitations, and programs related to the Dikean Society, including an initiation program; information related to Sockwell's position as the chairman of Freshman Chapel Committee; materials related to the 1927 Freshman-Junior wedding; programs and ephemera related to Camp Taukeetah in Franklin, NC; a Class of 1927 Reunion program; and materials relating to Sockwell's membership in the French Club and the YWCA.
