LIQUID DISPENSER FOR
HOOVER POLI·SHERS
For applying scrubbing solution and
water emulsion wax to floors.
TO ASSEMBLE
1. Attach Clamp to handle, with
movable hook down and Lower
Spring Clip just above handle socket.
(Fig. 1)
2. Position U-shaped wire Hose
Guide around handle socket, squeeze
ends and snap under rear edge of
bail. (Fig. 1)
3. Fill can with liquid and rep lace
cap. (If wax is bought in one-quart
oblong cans, the wax container-instead
of the container that comes
with the kit-may be attached to the
polisher.) Tighten cap while holding
hoses in line with front edge of can.
(Fig. 2) The Pull Cord should be at
the rear of the can.
4. Place lower (cap end) edge of can in lower hook of
clamp, push down on can, and engage upper edge of can
under upper hook.
5. Run hoses under bail and thru eyelets of hose guide,
so that hose ends are at rear of polisher.
6. Run the pull cord up along the right side of the
handle and fasten hook in hole in handle.
7. To dispense liquid, put finger in ring and pull up
on the co.rd.
HOW TO SCRUB FLOORS
Put scrubbing solution in container
and attach to polisher, following directions
given on Page 1. Run hoses under
bail and through eyelets of hose guide
so hose openings are at rear of polisher.
(See sketch.) Pull cord to apply so lution
to floor.

rinsing f loor.
HOW TO APPLY WAX TO FLOORS
Water Emulsion Wax can be applied to the floor in the
same manner as scrubbing solution. (See above.) If
this wax is bought in oblong one-quart cans, the wax
container - instead of the container which comes with
the kit- may be attached to t he polisher. See Polisher
Instruction Book for directions for spreading wax and
for types and names of waxes.

Solvent Base Wax, which is identified by the u;ord "Inflammable"
or "Combustible'' on the label, should not be
applied with the dispenser. This wax contains solvents
harmful to the dispenser.
CARE AND STORAGE
OF DISPENSER
IMPORTANT! After each use, rinse
the container several times with hot
water, shake water out of can and
store with top off.
Take top of dispenser apart. Remove rubber cover by
holding cap in one hand and pushing down on rubber.
(See picture.) Run warm water through rubber cover
and hoses.

• Rinse can cap, gasket and valve in warm water or, if
wax has hardened, wash in detergent and water and
rinse.
• Check valve to see that steel ball moves freely. Do not
remove steel ball or dispenser will leak.
• Reassemble unit so it is ready for use.
• Can clamp and hose guide may be left on polisher.
