Used as research for Cowling's book, The cello. Violoncello line only, no part for continuo. Pages [3] and [4] consist mainly of research notes with 1- measure examples from sonatas op 1, no. 1-3. Accompanied by "Study for tuning" ([1] leaf), a study in double stops extracted from Op. 1, compiled by Elizabeth Cowling. Annotations in pencil and red pencil by Elizabeth Cowling.
