CURTAIN CALLS
LIBERACE.
Once again proves to be one of the greatest performers in
show business today. In the production "COME AS YOU
WERE," Liberace, with his piano as a sounding board, brilliantly portrays a diversity of roles never before attempted
by any single performer in the history of the theatre.
GEORGE LIBERACE.
Known to millions of television viewers as the silent partner
of his famous brother, emerges as one of the great new music-
comedy finds in this, his first legit stage role.
VAMPIRA.
Whom LIFE referred to as a "Scarey Fem-Fatale," was
"Born" on Television where for many months she presented
blood curdling and spine tingling commercials for a local
sponsor. More recently she was a "Frightful" success with
her Charles Adams caricature on the George Gobel Show.
This marks Vampira's first "Diabolique" entrance on a theatre
stage in a role that is "Terrifyingly" amusing.
JACK BAKER.
Whose first dance assignment with Liberace was in the
Warner Brothers feature, "Sincerely Yours," presents his
refreshingly new choreographic talents to this production. He
is also responsible for the dance production highlights each
week on such varied television programs as the Dinah Shore
Show, I Love Lucy and many others.
FRANK STILL and...
MICHAEL LINDON
Prominent English playwrights and song and lyric team, have
enhanced the performances of such well known personalities
as Noel Coward, Martha Raye and Mae West. Their writing
talents are displayed further in "COME AS YOU WERE,"
which should earn them a place among the foremost American
Writing duos of musical comedy today.
GORDON ROBINSON.
