Memo to: Mereb E. Mossman
From: Eloi se R. Lew"s
Re: .' Recommendations on Tenure for the Academic Year 1967-68
Although there are no spec'fie recommendations regarding the four faculty
members whose names appear on the printed sheets sent out from your
office, there are a few comments which I would like to make.
Miss Al'ce Boehret - We have discussed the matter of Miss Boehret's return
to this faculty. I hope we will know fairly soon since the Assistant
Professorship which she had is needed for the person who will carry the
leadership role ^n Public Health.
Mrs. Rubye Cherry - As you know, Mrs. Cherry told me at our conference on
December 27, 1966 that she was seeking a pos'tion ;n Nursing Service.
S'nce her work at the master's level II in thia area it appears to me
she haf made a w'se decision
Mrs. Ruth Dunn and Mrs. Mary Eddy - S^'nce our discussion in December
I've had three conferences with these two young women. The purpose has
been to try to help them find suitable employment. I've made several
contacts for them and as many suggestions as I could think of. Nothing
seems to suit—the hours and salary here will be hard to match for their
preparation and experience--so they are on their owb to find a job they
like. You can be sure if I have another idea I'll share, but I believe
I've given all the time necessary and have not been successful in helping
them find what they want.
