MEMORANDUM
TO:
Mereb E. Mossman
FROM: Eloise R. Lewis
RE: Survey of the Graduates from the Associate Applied Science
Degree Program (Nursing)
I believe I mentioned to you at an earlier date that we were going to
undertake a survey of our Associate Degree graduates — the task has
been completed.
Attached is a copy of the results which, in some ways, are disappointing.
These materials will be transmitted by the Chancellor to the Chairman of
the Board of Trustees at Cone Hospital and to Mr. Bettis. I just thought
that you would have as much interest as anyone in the results so I have
taken the liberty of sharing with you.
We will be working with Barbara Parrish to plan a special reunion in
1980. If the plans materialize, we will look forward to having you share
this happy occasion with us.
Many of the graduates wrote notes and made special requests which are
being responded to individually. You are receiving one of the copies
that includes all the comments. We chose not to include all comments in
the materials transmitted to Mr. Bettis because of the specific nature of
the requests for educational opportunities that most appropriately belong
to us. After you have finished reading this, perhaps we will have the
privilege of talking about it someday.
Thank you for your continued interest and support.
