The Greensboro group whose jobs involve management responsibilities will discuss operating problems and responsibilities. B. B. Fort, Greensboro Operations Manager, will preside. As in previous meetings Eichhorn and J. W. Lovatt, Assistant General Manager, will discuss current Company operations and future plans. This is a continuation of the series of meetings which began in November of 1959, and which, according to the comments of those who have attended, have been highly successful and beneficial. Others attending will be J. Adelstein, J. M. Berry, W. J. Blalock, Anna Brewer, Carl Broerman, Wayne Calloway, Joyce Cauthren, J. W. Clarida, Julia Coker, Robert Craven, Joan Drummond, J. In line with increasing growth and expansion of facilities at the Wendover Avenue plant a three-truck sheltered loading platform is nearing completion at that location. The 32-foot loading area will accommodate three tractor trailers at one time to speed up and simplify loading and unloading of finished stock and packaging materials. Under construction at the west end of the Cough Syrup-warehouse building, the 10-foot wide platform will feature a marquee-type roof which will extend three feet beyond the loading dock. In addition it will feature three hinged dockboards which may be adjusted to any level truck bed. Two other access doors (only one exists at present) to the loading platform will be added in order that all three loading zones may operate simultaneously. A cantilever-type gate will be installed at the entrance drive, and will be locked at night to insure the plant's security. A buzzer at the entrance gate will be installed to summon a night-watchman, should any personnel have business at the plant after it is locked for the night. This modernization of facilities for handling incoming and outbound truckload shipments represents a major improvement which will allow for more streamlined and efficient handling of raw materials and finished goods. McGhee, A. Miga, W. Lee Moose, J. E. Morrah, William Newman, Lee Norman, A. L. Potter, Gordon Prather. Viola Price, Gaston Sharpe, Edith Sink, D. S. Smith, Mary Squires, H. M.
