A letter certifying that Susanne B. Hoskins worked in the American Red Cross. The full text reads:
This is to certify that Miss Susanne B Hoskins worked in the American Red Cross Children's Bureau, in France for a period of sixteen months from September 1917 to January 1919. Miss Hoskins was for six months at a hospital and convalescent home for repatrie children at Evian and after that she was connected with the Public Health work being done in Lyons and the surrounding district, part of which time she was head nurse of a hospital run by the A. R. C. Miss Hoskins at all time did excellent work showing great efficiency and ability and tact in managing the work and handling the difficult situations which naturally arose in such work in a foreign country and with foreign people.
