Five White boys were sent to Jackson Training school at Concord, one white girl was sent to Samarcand, the state institutton for delinquent young women in Moore county, through the juvenile court and one through the city court. Three white boys were placed in orphanages. Two negro boys were placed in orphanages, one in the county bome, one under the care of the county probation officer. Eight of the 23 delinquents ap-peared before the court because they were homeless. Seven way-maries in June. He will have com-pleted 16 years on the bench of the ninth judicial circuit.
