I hope all of you who had part In organizing the Benefit Basketball
Game for Camp Carefree are as excited as I am with your
tremendous success. What a beautiful job you all did in every
facet of the event and how nice that the fruits of your labor were
so evident.
1 have had favorable comments from every one 1 have talked to this
week about the success of the event It Is agreed by all It was the
best $3's worth of entertainment Greensboro has ever seen.
I really havn't the words to fully express my appreciation for not
only the money raised but also, the tremendous publicity
associated with It. I feel sure we will see fat reaching effects In
our future fundralsing efforts from the press the game received.
Many, many thanks to all of you who worked so hard; the money
raised gives us some good working capital with which to start our
cottages.
