Dear Bob:
I've documented the dates and events I know to be true. So many changes have occurred in my
33 years at Moses Cone. I have only included those events that I thought would be more
interesting to you. If you need more specific information, please let me know. I'll do what I
can.
I have also included attachments that are descriptive of Pharmacy Services today. We have gone
a long way from 1963 when pharmacists remained within the walls of the Pharmacy and took
care of only the dispensing responsibilities. A more formalized clinical practice by pharmacists
was unheard of until 1969. I have several speeches that I delivered at various stages of
Pharmacy development that show some of the stages we went through if these are needed.
I apologize for not getting this information to you sooner. I appreciate your wanting to include
our Department in your history of the Hospital. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
^ucJ^
