The Auxiliary To The
GUILFORD COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETY
GREENSBORO BRANCH
January 1, 1969
Dear Organization Leader,
The abuse of drugs and alcohol is a problem of growing concern in our
community. The Greensboro Branch of the Guilford County Medical Auxiliary, in
cooperation with the Medical Liason Committee of the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce,
is offering as a public service, a program designed to educate the general public
about this problem. This program, consisting of film and speakers, is available
without charge to any community organization upon request. The length of the
program will be tailored to the needs of each specific organization.
Among those working with us on this program are members of the Guilford County
Medical Society, the County Health Department, the Vice Division of the Police
Department, the Alcohol Information Center, the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and
Dangerous Drugs, and the health educators in the school system.
If you are interested in having this program presented at a specific meeting,
kindly contact Mrs. J. Wm. McCracken at 27U-0561*, Mrs. Sam Sue at 299-7791*, or
Mrs. E. B. Spangler at 299-1*392. We will be happy to set up a program for you at
your convenience.
Sincerely yours,
Mrs. E. B. Spangler
