Herman Cone, industrialist, civic leader, and Vice-
President (1918-1947) and President (1948-1953)
of the Board of Trustees of the Moses H. Cone
Memorial Hospital. His dedication and influence
were outstanding in the planning, construction,
and early management of the hospital.
