Dear Groundbreaking Participant: .._ :\]
In order to make groundbreaking as smooth and quick as
possible, we offer these last minute instructions.
As a participant in the actual "turning of the earth" we
would like you to leave room 917 a minute or so before the
rest of our guests. You will be instructed to do so from the
podium. Please move quickly to the old lobby where you will be
fitted with a hard hat. An elevator will be reserved for you
to move to the lobby. -,. ^
Once you reach the old lobby, please line up at the front
door in the following order;
Medical Chiefs
Dean Bondurant, Mayor Forbis
Mr. Barry, Mr. Sebrell, Mr. Hartsell
Members of the Board of Trustees
From here you will move outside onto the platform built
for this occasion. Please be careful as the platform does not
have rails on the sides or rear.
Shovels will be handed out once you are outside. Groundbreaking will occur in tiers. You will break ground standing
at the front of the platform. Pictures wil be taken of each
group. Please stand closely together so me can make the
photograph, this is particularly important for a large group
such as the Board of Trustees.
Once you have broken ground, please move to the rear of
the platform to make room for the next tier.
Groundbreaking will occur in the following order:
1. Board of Trustees
2. Mr. Weill, Mr. Barry, Mr. Sebrell, Mr. Hartzell
3. Mr. Weill, Mr. Barry, Dean Bondurant, Mayor Forbis
