Services at The
Moses H. Cone
Memorial Hospital. Prior to this appointment, he was administrator of
Davis Hospital, Inc., a 167 bed acute
care facility in Statesville. He served
as administrator of Chatham Hospital, Inc. in Siler City for about seven
years.
Mr. Brown is a graduate of Lenoir-
Rhyne College and received a Masters
Degree in Health Administration
from the School of Public Health at
The University of North Carolina. He
served a residency in hospital administration at Charlotte Memorial
Hospital and Medical Center.
He served three years in the U.S.
Army where he was commissioned
Second Lieutenant of Infantry and
was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Bronze Star and Expert
Infantry Badge. He presently holds
the rank of Major in the North Carolina Air National Guard.
Mr. Brown is active in a number of
civic and professional organizations
and has published in Clinical Research.
