A year ago you started the Greensboro Historical Medical Library.
Since it started, many good things have happened. Not only did the Library
receive strong moral support, but also many individuals became Charter
Members by contributing $100.00 or more before December 31, 1985. A picture
of the Charter Member plaque which hangs in the Moses Cone Library is
enclosed. Also, the following individuals have donated books to the
Historical Library during the year for which we are extremely grateful.

The funds collected for the Historical Library total $7,925.00 -
that amount given by the Charter Members. Moses Cone Hospital has
graciously housed all of the material and will continue to do so until we
have a separate room for this purpose. We will need a total of $80,000.00
for construction purposes. It will be serviced and maintained by the
hospital. Leslie Mackler and Kristi Marshall, both of the library, have
been extremely helpful.
We are looking for a logo for the Greensboro Historical Medical
Library. Those of you that feel so inclined, please reach into your rich
artistic bag and pull out a winner.
Folks, all of the above is a start. Being familiar with the past
will help in our future. Without your support, none of this would be
