Once a<jain we have the opportunity to do our share in meeting the
needs of the community through the United Way Campaign. Because this
hospital believes in the importance of the 36 agencies supported through
the United Way, I want to personally urge you to support this year's campaign.
You and your family probably have benefitted from services of United
Way Agencies through scouting, recreation activities, medical research,
safety and blood programs, special services to veterans and servicemen and
several others. For these reasons, 1 urge you to support the campaign
generously.
Me want each of you to know that

1. Moses Cone Hospital believes wholeheartedly in the
Inited Way of providing these services in our community.
2. We recognize that each of us owes our community our
generous support of this once-a-year campaign.
The Hospital is making it convenient for all of us to give by providing
payroll deductions, spreading our contribution over the entire year. Again
this year Mr. Frank Johnson is serving as our key man in the Hospital's
campaign. If you have any questions about the drive or any suggestions
that will help us attain our goal this year, please let him know.
