Cone Capers sets the night to music
What happens when health-care staff and physicians team up for a worthy
cause? Moses Cone Health System's Cone Capers Benefit Talent Show.
Twelve acts, ranging from magic to dance and music, will entertain a crowd
at the 29th annual event Sept. 6 at the Carolina Theatre. Proceeds from Cone
Capers send local children to Camp Carefree, a summer camp for children
suffering from serious illnesses or who have a parent with a life-threatening
illness.
As part of the special evening, professional magician Bill Cashion will work
his magic on the crowd. The talent show also features area physicians, with acts
such as Ward Robinson, MD, Internal Medicine, who will perform a saxophone
