we are proud to salute you on this, the occasion of your retirement from the US Postal
Service.
Your support of Hayes-Taylor, as a volunteer Sustaining Campaign worker. Board
member. Chairperson of the Board of Management (1997 - 1998) and its' representative
on the Metropolitan YMCA Board of Directors has truly been a gift that we have
appreciated and will continue to appreciate long in to the future.
On this occasion, we are particularly proud to note among the accomplishments during
your tenure as Chairperson of the Board, the extinguishing of the approximate
$4,500,000.00 mortgage debt, for the renovation and expansion of our Branch.
As Chairperson, your leadership was steadfast and firm, "standing up for" and leading the
Branch through some very challenging times. We are indebted to you for the sacrifices
that you made so that others, from children in our Kiddie Kollege to seniors, could enjoy
our facilities. The "stamp" of your leadership shall be an everlasting and bright quality
for others to look up to and follow.
