Miss Biswas From
Pakistan To Visit
G.C March 11-13
The problem of racial discrimination in the U. S. and of the caste
system in Indian and Christianity's
response to these challenges will
be among the several problems of
mutual concern to both American
and Indian students to be discussed
on the campus March 11 to 13.
Miss Renita Riswas, a young student from Lahore, Pakistan, and
the woman Olympic Champion in
the Punjab, is visiting college campuses this spring as a member of
the travel staff of the Student Volunteer Movement. Having just
completed two years of her college education in the U. S., she
speaks from first-hand knowledge
of the student life in both countries. The program for Miss Riswas' visit to the campus includes
class visitations, personal interviews, and participation in all of
GC's activities during her two-day
visit here.
Arrangements have been made
for Miss Biswas to have personal
interviews with students interested
in full-time work in these and other
areas of Christian concern throughout the world. If you would like
to have such an interview see Evelyn Loven for an appointment with
Miss Biswas.
