NOV 101967 274-4860 7G3-N.£a§ene St.27401 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx November 9th 1967 Hon. Dan Moore Governor of North Carolina Raleigh, North Carolina. Dear Governor Moore! I read Mr. Jesse Helms Editorial, which appeared as a second printing, in the Greensboro Daily News on October 7th 1%7. I agree with Mr. Helms Editorial, completely. I, for one, m protesting the State spending tax money in the hiring of Howard Fuller as a Lecturer at Chapel Hill, N. C. I am also, protesting the permitting ©f "BLACK poWfiB" holding a Forum at U.N.C.-G, along with Ronald Finney, the thetf of Black Power, and Howard Fuller. Governor Moore, what are w@ teaching at our Universities? Communis®, Black Power and the "0VE8 WK» OF OUS G »VER1ENTM. If this continues, then n© wonder we don*t have enough money to pay for our teachers. If we are going to hire such as Howard Fuller at Chapel Hill, N. C. and permit Finney and all those who were there, to held a Forma in a State Owned and State supported buildings, then why not hire "Sat Brown, Carmiehaei. Casalus Clay and Martin Luther King te come and operate our Universities. If there are students in either Chapel Mill or U. N. C.« G., who want to Demonstrate in a school which is supported by the taxpayers of North Carolina and who want to learn mere about Communism, then send them home and let their Draft Boards send them to VIET _ NAM, where so many of our boys are now, daily giving up their lives, and then they too, will soon learn all they want about Communism. Who runs our Universities? These Communistic Students and Professors or do we have a Board of Trustees, who have the %UTSM to run them on the basis of the Freedom which our fore-fathers fought and died for. According to some of the students at U. N. C. - C, the NEWS has not published the TRUE STATSMSKTS made by some of those attending th© Forum.
