A CALL FOR
JUSTICE IN GREENSBORO i
We wish lo express our concern for justice in the case of the Greensboro Massacre.
March 22nd a federal grand jury was convened in Norlh Carolina to consider indictments in conjunction with the 1979 killings of James Waller, Bill Sampson, Sandi Smith, Michael Nathan and Cesar Cauce.
We feel that it is particularly critical at this moment that the public watch carefully to ensure that this grand jury
pursue its duties in a responsible way and that the process of justice is neither limited nor distorted.

Treasury Dept., had participated in Nazi planning meetings to prepare for the attack;
2) Edward Dawson, paid Greensboro police informer and former FBI informant, had recruited for, organiz-

Since the acquittal, our voices and those of others have been raised to demand federal civil rights charges be
brought against those responsible for the killings.
We feel that the federal grand Jury is a response to the groundswell of support from Greensboro

We ask all who read this to observe carefully as this crucial grand jury proceeds. In the midst of mounting
Klan racist and anti-Semitic violence and increasing attemp's by government to silence those who wish to speak
out for their rights we see North Carolina as a testing ground for justice in the 1980's.
