The 1973 Guilford College yearbook, The Quaker, reflects efforts to integrate the college community. Continued presence of minority faculty and administrators and the growth of the student organization, Brothers and Sisters In Blackness (BASIB), aided in further integrating the community. Included are candid photos of African American students and portraits of professors and students.
