Dear Beth:
Your father has told me of your recent adventures with
COBE, and I want to write immediately to express my support
and to extend my congratulations on this fine piece of
service. I am sure that other members of Doylestown Meeting
will be equally proud of what you have done, and we are
eager to have details of the experience.
I would encourage you to write down your story just as
soon as possible, while it is fresh in your mind. Donft
worry if it does not seem to be polished and complete.
Frank Bjomsgaard is the editor of the Monthly Meeting Newsletter, and he will certainly want to include any news you
have to give on the sit-in.
I was very glad to hear that Floyd Moore had been of
help to you. I know him well and can appreciate that he
would support you in this kind of endeavor. Do let me know
if, as Clerk of the Monthly Meeting, I can be of any
assistance. We think of you as one of our members and
stand behind you in your witness to what you feel is right.
Sincerely yours,
^J^Un^
