University Archives & Manuscripts at UNCG is home to the Robert C. Hansen Performing Arts Collection, a significant resource for the documentation of performing arts, particularly 19th century theatre history. The collection contains broadsides, playbills, programs, autographs, correspondence of theatrical figures, photographs, posters, scrapbooks, and many other miscellaneous items pertaining to the illustrious personages of the performance arts of the 19th and 20th centuries in both the United States and Europe.
