About the collection

In 1957, the Department of Nursing Education initiated a two-year program for nurses in cooperation with the Moses H. Cone Hospital. Students from the program received the Associate of Applied Science Degree and were eligible to take the Registered Nurse Licensing Examination. The program had its last graduating class in 1967.

The Department of Nursing Education Records contains brochures, reports, meeting minutes, and graduate questionnaires related to the department, which operated from 1957-1967.
