WELCOME TO WUAG .I .I .I .I .I
We're glad that you've come to our first organizational meeting!

Here's j~st a little information about WUAG that we thought you might
be interested in. We were founded in 1963 with the call letters WEHL.
Later in 1972, we became WUAG standing for University At Greensboro.
1983 will be our 20th anniversary and we plan to make it our best
year ever and we're happy that you'd like to be part of it.
We are an Album Rock station, however we run a three hour ~azz
Show seven days a week. We also run sports programs, news, and feature
We have an executive staff consisting of eight paid staff members
and one general staff representative who serves as a member of the
executive board, who is however, not paid. None of our other staff
members are paid either, but by second semester this year we hope
to offer credit hours for hours put in at the station. This will
come about with a merger with the communications department.

106."
