WELC011E TO UNC-G! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
He at W U A G hope you will enjoy the upcoming year as well as we hope that
our station will be a part of it. Our frequency is 106.1 FM and our offices are
located on the third floor of Elliot University Center. Our format is Album Rock,
with a three-hour Jazz show seven days a week. We also run news, sports, and other
features.
Our first organizational meeting will be on Tuesday, August 24, at 6:30p.m.,
in the Alexander Room on the third floor of Elliot Center. Anyone interested is
welcome to attend!! This meeting will be centered on finding out who is interested
in what and introducing our departments and department heads to you. If you will
be unable to attend the meeting and are interested in working with the station this
fall, either come by our offices during regular office hours of 9- 5 p.m., or call
us at 379-5450 and make an appointment with Neil Matson or Lisa Fields.
Please feel free to come by our offices and studios and check out our facili-ties.
