Ideas For 1994-1995 School Year - Set up a WUAG booth in the atrium during the first week of school. The booth would help to promote the station as well as the organizational meeting. We could have giveaways, broadcast the station from a portable radio so students would have an idea of what the station sounded like. Also it would be a good idea to have the different department heads there to answer questions and give a good description of the different areas WUAG.covers. ~To make the music department more visual * post .a Top 35 in the studio on a weekly basis * post when rotation is changed and suggestions for it *give a .Top 15 list to the Carolinian on a weekly basis * have ·separate meetings for the music staff for a kind of question and answers session .and to discuss where the music department is heading - Would like to air interviews with bands on a weekly basis, preferably on Fridays * have local bands as well as national bands, this would help to tie into the community and national level as well - Organize control room more * finish clearing out some of the vinyl to make room for the CDs * remove duplicates of CDs and single that are on full length albums * complete organizing the Music Library * each specialty show would be responsible for keeping their· section neat and orderly * expand~empty mom with shelves fon the vinyl coming out of the control mom - Would love to repaint and woi-k:-on over.all:appe.arance of the station - Would like to. promote the station as much as possible, not just when we have a benefit * woukl· like to be more involved with campus activities and have better campus recognition -Would like to work more closely with the credit students. Get the peqple on credit to become: more .involved not just with. the music department, but with WUAG as a .whole.
