Description	The first six pages of this document is the letter from Pearl Wyche to her mother about the typhoid crisis on the campus of the State Normal and Industrial College in 1899." The second half is a letter from Pearl Wyche's half-niece, Alice (Poole) Adams (Mrs. EC) explaining how the letter came into her hands and detailing who some of the people Pearl Wyche mentioned in her letter. Alice Adams' letter is addressed to Miss Parrish on Sunday, June 25, 1967, thanking her for the enjoyable fiftieth reunion party for the class of 1917.""""A portion of a letter written by the late Pearl Wyche, class of 1903." Pearl was a half sister of my mother's (the late Mrs. E. Poole of Greensboro) and must have remained with Greensboro relatives while the college was closed." [From page eight (8) of the letter]
