Description	The Constitution of the Adelphian Literary Society was a student group of the State Normal and Industrial School. The purpose of the society was "to cultivate our power of thoughts and expression, to add dignity to our character, to aid in the discipline of our college and to promote the welfare and pleasure of its students." The constitution then lays out the group's name, objective, membership, the officers and their terms, the meeting schedule on Friday nights, by laws, committees, the colors of the Society being red and gold, attendance, amendments, and the membership fee of $1 (one dollar).
