Description	The Class of 1908 folder contains material pertaining to the 1908 graduating class of North Carolina State Normal and Industrial College (State Normal, now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Included in the folder are programs from the1908 commencement, the Old Maids" Convention, and a program list titled "Representative Essays" which were read by the students. Also included are two alumnae directories, one based on the students" date of entry, which includes maiden names and years of attendance. Of particular interest is a hand-made booklet which includes copies of photos from some of the original buildings and parks, showing some of the college"s original architecture dating back to 1908. There is also an essay titled "Science in the Home" written by Miss Edna Forney in 1908.
