LARGE ENROLLMENT EXPECTED ON THE OPENING
DATE
A new academic year, with all its obligations, privileges
and pleasures, will begin September 15th. It is expected that
the enrollment will break all previous records. Everything is
being placed in readiness for the opening. All of the departments of the institution have been strengthened by the addition of better equipment and new teachers. Prof. Jewell
has been on the campus since the middle of August, getting
the laboratories in shape. The South Dormitory has been
remodeled and is in a better condition than it has been for
years. It is being furnished with new equipment and its
appearance has been greatly improved. The mechanical
building has been completely renovated and will provide
commodious quarters for the teaching of the technical subjects. The dairy barn has been completed and is now ready
for use. Many new courses have been added, also new trade
courses. Among the new trade courses are hotel and lunch
room management, and laundering. The appearance of the
campus has been improved by the tearing down of the old
dairy barn and removal of the old dairy house. The Y. M.
C. A. has made improvements in its quarters and is in a
better shape to serve the students than it has ever been before.
Many interesting events have been planned for the year.
The Friday evening programs will be under the supervision

been selected to be rendered by each class in the institution.
These plays vary from heavy, serious selections to those of

Every department of the institution is in better shape to
