Folksies dear," Right now I'm trying to kill a mosquito maybe will have to put my net down early to scare him away.
My spirits are very high since I talked the Doc into a discharge tomorrow. Two weeks here is too long even if the food is good.
Saw a movie last night about Blondie and Dagwood. I like them much better in the funnies. Cookie and the dogs were darling.
Just got a letter from Kay today when you had just arrived back home. She wondered who Tom was now I believe you all know after my long descriptions. Just got another good picture and will send you one when I get another copy. We took some one day when we went to another base close by and they were quite good. Will send you some of myself too. My hips look a bit chubby but my pants don't fit and then I never was so small there and haven't lost any weight.
Guess Kay can disregard the letter from ""Time"" but I'm wondering about my ""Life"" subscription.
I have written Aunt Belle, Grandpa H., Grandma S. Auntie Scovel[?] and the Seiters since being in the hospital 30 some letters in all so I don't owe a soul.
Wish I could sell my cigarette ration to someone in the states. Always draw my four cartons and then give them away to someone. That much doesn't last a heavy smoker.
I enjoyed all of the clippings and cartoons. The boys always do too because I put them upon the bulletin board.
Have had 2 nice letters from Jim this week dated Jan 21 and Mar 15. In fine spirits in both so I guess he's getting along well.
The Chaplain has been stopping in each day and I've enjoyed our chats. Will hear him next Sun. and then decide which minister to patronize. For awhile we didn't have a choice.
Hope you are all well and not working too hard getting ready for the house warming.
