Dearest Mother and Daddy," I'm on duty, but thought while I'm not busy I would go ahead and start this. You see I'm going to a dance to-night, and I knew I wouldn't get it written to-night, because I'm supposed to go at 7:30 and I don't get off until 7:00. I'm going with this same boy from Ga. that I went with before. He's very nice and a good dancer. We are going to an Engineer Club. We've been there before.
Had two letters from Louis to-day, and he says that he's meeting up with some of his friends every now and then.
Tomorrow we are supposed to go out on another boat trip. Hope it doesn't rain. We are going to take a picnic lunch, and drink beer or something.
I was sorry to hear about Mr. Boyd. Hope he gets along alright. I had a letter from Margaret several days ago, but that was before he was operated on, and she was telling me about it.
I have ""Rebel"" over at the ward here with me and all of the patients have been playing with her. She's going to be spoiled rotten.""Pedro"" died the other day. He was sick for a couple of days and then died. So now I only have ""Rebel"" and she getting to be enough to handle. However now she runs loose all of the time and sleeps in the tent at night- usually on the foot of my bed. She's very good too.
There's not much other news. I'm feeling fine. Tell everyone ""hello"" for me.
