Dearest Mother and Daddy," Well, to-day is Friday the 13th, but so far nothing unlucky has happened. I'm having my P.M. to-day. When I came off duty at 12:30 I undressed and lay down for a couple of hours, and I just woke up about 30 minutes ago, and I still feel half asleep. I went to a dance last night and didn't get in until 1:30 A.M. We had fun though.
We're having a movie in our club to-night. Don't know what is showing, but I guess I'll go. It will help pass the time.
We've had a couple little showers of rain this afternoon. It's helped cool things off some.
I'm sitting out here in the club writing and I have ""Rebel"" out here with me. She gets cuter every day. You should see her sit up for her food. I sure would like to bring her back with me.
There isn't so much news. It seems like every time I write, there's less and less to say. Nothing exciting or new is going on. Just the same old routine of work, day after day.
All of the time though I keep wishing I were back there in the States with Louis. He's awfully lonesome and so am I. maybe it won't be too long until we will be together again. I hope not.
Must go now and see where ""Rebel"" has chases herself off to. I'll be writing again in the next couple of days.
