Dearest Mother and Daddy,"" I haven't had a letter from you all since Sunday but maybe I'll have one tomorrow. I also haven't had one from Louis since Sunday. But yesterday there was no mail at all for anyone. So tomorrow should be a good mail day for me. I hope so.
I'm sitting just outside my tent trying to keep an eye on ""Rebel"" and write this at the same time. But I just had to go and chase her so I just tied her up. She's not very happy about it either.
You should see our little tent girl with her. She talks Filipino to her, and the first thing I know she will be so confused, she wont know what she is.
There isn't much news. I'm still working on the same ward that I've been on since coming off night duty. We are very busy. We have had a good bit of rain the past three days, and it's pretty muddy. But I'll take the mud to the heat any day.
Mary Kurfees is in the hospital with amoebic dysentery. She's been in about a week. She's getting along alright.
Well, I guess this is all for now. Will write again in a couple of days.
