Dear Mr. President, Last year, George Bush signed a bill for more research to address autism - that is not enough. Autism is an epidemic and I feel that there needs to be more funding and research to help kids with autism. And I feel that the insurance companies need to understand that autism is a medical condition and not get caught up in the diagnosis. I work for a nonprofit organization that helps kids and adults with disabilities, so I know firsthand. My son is 4 and he has autism. I found out when he was 18 months old.
