Hospital Information
Staff Parking — Lighted parking areas, set aside for free use
by hospital staff, are available in the south lots next to the
hospital building. Security guards are on duty at all times to
assist staff and visitors.
Physician Parking — Lighted physician parking is
designated behind the hospital building in the west lots and
on the ground level of the West Wing. A private physician
entrance is adjacent to the ground level parking area.
Park and Picnic Area — Located beside the small stream
which runs behind the hospital, and next to the south parking
lots, is a small park with several picnic tables and flowers
donated to Wesley Long by members of our Board.
Cafeteria — The hospital cafeteria offers a variety of soups,
salads, sandwiches, and meals at savings to our staff and their
guests. Hours are:

Coffee Shop — The Coffee Shop is located on the ground
level to the right of the elevators and is" open to visitors and
staff from 8:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Monday - Saturday; and 1:30
p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Snack and Drink Machines — Located down the right
hallway from the ground elevators, third door on the left is the
6:30 a.m.

Newspapers — Greensboro papers may be purchased in
the lobby at a paper stand by the Reception Desk or from a
newsboy who visits every room in the mornings and
afternoons.
Telephone — The telephones are located in every department and one must dial 9 for an outside line, and the three
digit extension for an inside line. Pay phones are located
beside Boren Chapel on the first floor.
Mail — A mail box is located outside the Elam Avenue
entrance and is picked up most afternoons by 5:15 p.m.
Flowers — Flowers are sold in the hospital lobby at the
Reception Desk by the WLCH Auxiliary.
Gift Shop — The Gift Shop is located on the first floor, to the
right of the main entrance and is staffed by the WLCH
Auxiliary and offers everything from cut glass and fine
ceramic pieces from all over the world to a variety of candy,
cards, books, stationary, woven baskets, jewelry and baby
gifts.
House Minister and Chapel — Boren Chapel is the first
door on the left after entering the Elam Avenue entrance and
is open for staff, patients, and visitors that may need a quiet
place for meditation.
