The three essential components of professional nursing practice as
identified in The American Nurses Association's Position Paper on Nursing
Education are care, cure, and co-ordination. Which of these components
should be the central, primary focus of Nursing ?,, Can we demonstrate the
essence of nursing's unique contribution to patient care? Can we so
inter-relate and order these components that the role and function will be
clear to others and the result an internally consistent role? You hove,
