Hospital drive will reach patients around the world
This holiday season, employees at
The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital can reach out to patients across the globe with a special gift — the gift
of life. On Jan. 12, Moses Cone will become the first hospital in Guilford County to hold a bone marrow drive.
Healthy bone marrow, often called "the living gift of life," can mean the difference between life and death for
some patients.
Like a blood drive, hospital employees who participate in the bone marrow drive, sponsored by The Moses
H. Cone Regional Cancer Center, will give blood. Instead of the usual one pint, employees will donate two vials
